“Vice Dean Margaret Dees for Administrative Operations and I have often told you, your team, and anyone visiting our gorgeous new permanent law school home in the heart of downtown at 121 West Forsyth Street, what a great experience it has been to work with Workscapes. We hope you know how pleased we are with the outstanding results of your efforts. We write here simply to underscore the appreciation and regard we have for Workscapes and to let you know we happen to speak with anyone who wishes to Partner with Workscapes on a project. As I have mentioned before, if you wish to show your work to professional colleagues and potential clients, we would be happy to arrange a tour. That will be a “twofer” because we are eager to show off this amazing facility and introduce our College of Law to others, especially to businesses and civic organizations who are part of the Jacksonville downtown and larger communities who we serve. You and your team at Workscapes quite simply understood the assignment. When we sought a partner to furnish the new law school, we needed a firm that not only understood higher education but also could understand how our academic scholars, teachers, including judges, practitioners, administrators, and most importantly our law students would relate to this space over a grueling three-year program. Our success at the unique and new College of Law was important to the University and our City. Your furnishings by virtue of the aesthetic and practical qualities are an indispensable contributor to our successful launch of the law school. Thank you.We are more than an office building, and more than classrooms. Our long history as a University, the historic nature of the building, and the sense of place that grounds our law school needed to be reflected in its furnishings as much as its walls. Workscapes was the clear winner of competing vendors, and the results have been nothing short of spectacular. You worked tirelessly with us to select furnishings that would stand the test of time but also meet the challenge of defining the interior space in an historic building, and affording the durability, comfort, flexible use, and classic and classy beauty to create a lasting experience for all who call this school home.”
