On May 8th, 2019 Workscapes conducted their Annual Company meeting at the Country Club of Orlando in Orlando, FL. The meeting opened with Richard Dvorak, President of Workscapes delivering a motivational keynote on where the company began, the challenges and successes they faced over the years and where the company was headed over the next 10 years. The keynote was followed by an Awards luncheon where employees were shown appreciation for all their hard work and dedication for the calendar year of 2018. Employees were then broken up into various discussion groups that involved completing a checkup survey so that the executive leadership team could hear concerns and ideas directly from employees. A sales discussion and panel were hosted on how some of the top sales performers closed deals and secured clients. Once the day concluded everyone headed to Boardwalk Bowling Center were, they competed on teams comprised of employees from the various offices.
The Next morning the team met at the Orlando Showroom where they had breakfast and completed an exercise that showcased our internal process and showed who all plays a part in getting things done for the end user.
The team at Workscapes is committed to fostering the communities they serve. This year, they had the opportunity to sponsor the AIA-AAH/SMPS Pre-Event dinner to kick off the anniversary of the 10th annual AIA-AAH/SMPS Healthcare Event on May 3rd, 2019.
Each year, the Tampa Bay chapters of the American Institute of Architects – Academy of Architecture for Healthcare committee (AIA-AAH) and the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) come together to promote the gathering of local, regional and national health care system providers, policy leaders, researchers and futurists to support the educational and networking advancement of healthcare design, construction and allied industry professionals. Attendees come together to hear from keynote speakers and panelists who are experts in their industry.
During the pre-event dinner, participants had the opportunity to network with industry partners in the healthcare market. Elizabeth Dvorak, Workscapes CEO, was able to share some information about Workscapes as well as raffle off a Herman Miller chair to one lucky guest.

On May 10th, 2019 members of the Fort Myers Workscapes Team participated in Women Build which is a program that empowers women as homeowners, volunteers, philanthropists and community members. It attracts women from all walks of life who want to make a profound difference for families in their community. Women who volunteer on a Women Build site gain new skills, meet new friends and make a tangible impact in a way that they often have never experienced before. Best of all, no construction or repair experience is needed!
The mission of the Women Build is to engage woman in the effort to provide safe and decent homes for families in need of affordable housing, BY recruiting, educating, and inspiring women to build, they can transform lives in their communities. Since 2011, Women Build in Lee and Hendry Counties has partnered with 18 families to build strength and stability for 41 children and their parents through local fundraising and volunteer efforts. Together, we will raise 243,000 to build two new houses, transforming raw materials into homes that will empower our two Women Build families for generations.
