Project Intent
The Speer YMCA furnishing project in St. Petersburg was guided by a shared vision to create a vibrant, functional environment that supports the YMCA’s broader mission of strengthening community through healthy living. Workscapes collaborated closely with the YMCA team to deliver a tailored furniture solution that balances versatility, durability, and comfort—enhancing both the member experience and staff efficiency. The project was rooted in a deep understanding of the facility’s role as a welcoming hub for all ages and backgrounds, with furnishings thoughtfully selected to support everything from youth programs and fitness classes to administrative tasks. Every design choice was made with intention, reflecting the inclusive spirit of the YMCA while creating spaces that inspire wellness, belonging, and long-term community engagement.
