Opened in August 2022, Florida Polytechnic University’s Applied Research Center provides state-of-the-art laboratories, student design studios, conference rooms, and faculty offices. The two-story facility also includes graduate study areas and administrative space, all designed to support research, teaching, and collaboration at the highest level.

Project Intent

The Applied Research Center at Florida Polytechnic University is a two-story hub designed to advance technology and applied sciences while fostering collaboration across disciplines. Featuring 10 classrooms, 68 private offices, 15 workstations, conference rooms, and flexible commons areas, the center balances focused research with dynamic interaction. A welcoming lobby and expansive atrium create a vibrant destination for the campus community and industry partners, while thoughtfully designed spaces support both academic instruction and advanced research. The result is a signature facility that embodies adaptability, excellence, and innovation, serving as a catalyst for discovery and engagement.
