Introducing New Director of Community Engagement Samantha O'Lenick

Workscapes is proud to announce our new Director of Community Engagement Samantha O'Lenick.

Sam joins us from Adventhealth, where she served as the Executive Director of Community Impact in the Central Florida Division. Her leadership and direction guided AdventHealth’s mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ beyond the hospital walls.

A seasoned communications professional with two decades of experience, Sam leveraged her skills as a former journalist and knowledge of mass media to create the system’s external communications team. Her innovation and creativity have generated 3,000 annual media stories, garnering millions of dollars’ worth of earned publicity and several award-winning initiatives. Samantha has been recognized for growing Florida Hospital’s brand and reputation for goodwill through initiatives such as the Healthy 100, the organization’s Centennial celebration, and she recently led the Blessings for Puerto Rico relief drive.

Additionally, Sam provided strategic direction for AdventHealth’s community partnerships and alliances and led her team to partner with more than 500 organizations to address critical issues in Central Florida like mental health, food insecurity, access to care and community development. Sam is one of Central Florida’s most respected public relations and community relations practitioners. She has also been recognized by the Orlando Business Journal with the “Forty Under 40” award and was a Girl Scouts of Citrus Council’s Women of Distinction nominee for her accomplishments.

Sam is very active in the community and currently serves on the United Way Women’s Executive Council, the Board of Directors for NAMI Greater Orlando, and is a recent Leadership Florida graduate. She is passionate about whole-person and mental health and has lead a running group to honor a friend lost to suicide and raise awareness about the need for more mental health resources in greater Orlando.

We are thrilled to have her on our team and looking forward to the expertise, growth and knowledge she will bring to Workscapes.
